I have been put in charge of the promotion side of the record label and I have chosen to mainly use Instagram for this. I have mostly been watching very closely to how grime daily use their account as they are a role model for how we want to succeed. I have learnt a good way to keep my followers interacted is for example by posting a short video clip/ picture on the main account once a day however using Instagram stories is even better. You use Instagram stories by reposting relevant news and asking questions and also giving teaser videos of what everyday life is like for the artists making sure it is all interesting. I have done this by making sure what I am posting, is what I would be interested in seeing myself.

Grime daily was formed in 2009. The platform was created in order to create a space for UK urban artists to showcase themselves and release music. It started off with 3 men (Matt, Pierre and Koby) just posting old grime DvD's and videos on youtube, until they ran out of content to post, which they then decided to go onto filming their own unique content and doing long interviews with artists and splitting them up and releasing them like series everyday of the week.

By 2012, the Grime Daily website was taking in 70 million website hits and had over 50,000 daily visitors. The platform played a part in popularising artists such as Tinie TempahTinchy Stryder, and Wretch 32 in the early 2010s.

GRM Daily has been very influential in propping up UK urban artists from various genres, such as grime and British hip hop. The platform has been credited for bringing fame to artists such as StormzyDaveJ Hus, B Young, Amelia Monét, Kojo FundsSteel BanglezNot3sMabel, and many others. Today, GRM Daily are posting roughly 10 main posts per day in result of keeping all their followers interacted and avoid losing many followers. it is easy for them as they have all the content and following to continue promotion.

Harrison Armstrong, more commonly known as Aitch, is a new British rapper and songwriter from Manchester. Aitch is 20 years old and his fame came from His first track "Straight Rhymez" that he uploaded on youtube in may 2018. The video has gained over 17 million views and brought him to the attention of London rapper Stormzy. Aitch is now on the record label 'Northern Quarterz' and his net worth is estimated $1.2 million. He is best known for his track 'Taste' which he released on july 31st 2019 that then debuted at number 8 on the official singles chart and his video hitting over 3 million in just 11 days.
