Section 1: Rationale
I am creating a website which provides careers information for people that want to work in the music industry. I came up with this idea because I am struggling to find all the information and learning that I want to know on the internet and so I’m going to build it myself.
Section 2: Concept
I am going to be carriyng on with ‘ the music industry careers hub’.
The target audience is for people like me, already in education, and looking to understand more about the different career paths available in music. It will help them understand how to build their network and identify key organisations in the UK.
It will also appeal to people wanting a career change.
The content will be focused on creative and commercial careers in the music industry. It will cover everything behind the scenes from identifying artists, developing artists, promoting artists, royalties and rights, every aspect of monetising from artists.
I am aiming to do 4 interviews with different industry workers and a write up on each different roll.
To do these interviews i will be using the college resources. This will be the music sound proof booths for the interviews. Anchor to record it on and also to edit. I will need to edit out all the blank spaces and the ‘ums’ and ‘ars’.
This week i will start putting into place and planning who i am going to be starting interviews with.
Section 3: Evaluation
At the start of this project i will write out a plan of how each week will go until the end of the year. As i am going, Each week (on a monday) i will write a more detailed plan of how my week will be planned to go, at the end of each week (on a friday) i will evaluate how my week went, what went well and what didnt and what i could of done different, this will massively help me to keep on track with my project.

I will interview some college colleagues who want to work in the music industry. Interviews will be audio podcasts.
I will edit into short clips to keep viewers engaged and I will also use some of the interview content to create written articles and infographics.
I will use existing relevant content from other websites and reversion into articles and infographics.
