Term 2

Week 1: 

​

This week I need to prepare for my pilot practise. To do this I will make a draft scrip to help keep the convocation flow and to make sure I can get the maximum information out of the interview possible. My plan did change slightly as to who I was interviewing, it became more convenient for me to use a different artist to interview. However its neither here nor there as I will still be interviewing the other artists at a later date. Next week the pilot practise will be taking place. Although it is a 'practise' i am still slightly nervous so to prepare for this i did a little practise with a college friend i was more farmiliar with and comfortable with just to build my confidence slightly.

Week 2:

​

This week i done the pilot practise with a college artist which overall i am pleased with. i had to start off by booking a music booth in the college and getting all the correct equipment for example, a microphone, a stand, a microphone protecter and all the wires needed. I did my podcast interview on Logic pro. I found it quite easy to use and set up which helped make the interview run smoother as I was not nervous and not stressed. The artist i interviewed was very confident and had a lot to say which made it a lot easier for the convocation to flow and be more natural which i am happy about. Of course there was a few 'ums' and 'ars' in the interview but it was no problem as i found logic easy to do the editing. over the weekend i managed to get it put into sound cloud so that i could embed the link on my website.

Week 3:

​

this week im preparing a press release including my logo and a quick introduction of what i am doing and when our met connect website is launching ready to share on as part of promoting. this will go up on the met connect instagram and posted around the college.

All jobs done this week however I am not completely happy with the design of my press release so I will need to update that when possible. This week I also started uploading some of my content onto the MET Connect website ready for the launch in a few weeks time!

Week 4:

This week I set up a linked in profile for my self: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jena-harris-7249681bb/

I wrote in about myself and the website i am trying to persue and have started connecting with people who I want to start interviewing and also reached out to them. These people who i admire and am interested in their journey i found on a website called complex.com/uk. It is a popular culture online magazine full of a wide range of different subjects however the bit i was researching was called '30 under 30's people to watch'.

This week I also brought my demain name for 'themusicindustrycareershub.com'

Week 5:

​

This week i need to tidy up with all my work ready for the deadline next friday. 

i am happy with the progress of this week. got some practical work done and for next week i just need to do the same thing. overall i feel happy with the progress.

Week 6:

​

Deadline week this week. i feel relaxed, all the work is there just going to do the same as last week, tidy it all up and upload the content!

Over all evaluation so far:

I feel like i'm definitely heading in the right direction however the project is moving slower than I planned but I'm not put off by this. I'm happy with the content coming together and the foreseeable future plans of how I'm going to get more content uploaded. Overall I am happy with this terms progress.
